Previous version were working with no noticeable issue, but since I update to 3.8.1.0, the application crashes a lot!
For instance, this morning, on the way to work (25km /30 minutes drive) the application crashed at least 4 or 5 times.
This make the application unusable

I guess you should do a complete uninstall and reinstall. Others are also running on android 4.2.2 and above and crashing 4-5 times is really crazy. The other thing you might consider is to change your phone?

I think this is more like a general feedback for iOS and Android users. The voice prompt,"In xxx meters, you HAVE reached your destination" sounds so wrong grammatically. Would be good if it can be corrected to "in xxx meters, you WILL reach your destination" and "you HAVE reached your destination" when I've really arrived there.

Also sometimes, the navigation line just disappears when you're around 50 meters straight before your destination.

I'm currently using my LG G2 D802 and it doesn't seem to offer a full TTS feature. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have the app configured to use the phone's speaker.
Works great.

When I get a phone call, the radio automatically kicks over to Bluetooth for the call.
Invariably, EVERY time I take a call, Waze decides that it is time to announce 5 stalled vehicles on the shoulder, 4 police traps, and my next series of turns.
This comes over the BT, which interrupts the call.

When I tell Waze I want it to use the phone's speaker, that means that I do not want it using BT at any time... not ONLY when the radio is not in BT Audio mode.

Yes Bluetooth implementation is totally screwed and the devs blame your car even though all other apps function correctly.

Also tts should use the native android implementation and drop its own creation!

Typing while driving could lead to a crash - so perhaps it is best that you don't :ugeek:

And if you're a passenger?

I'm having issues with network connection also. However, my biggest gripe is all of the roads have disappeared on my map. It just shows my arrow going up a blank screen. I uninstalled and it worked for a day or 2 and now it's back to the same thing.

Been having this issue for a while now. On my Note 2, with Waze in portrait mode, the speedometer is under the friends online icon.

I'm on Android 4.4.2 on an unlocked Sony Xperia Z2 running the very latest version of Waze. My scoreboard stopped updating around July 29th. I went on a summer road trip, and drove around 800 miles during the week. My online dashboard is working and updating as usual. However, no 500 mile driven in a week candy has unlocked for me. Nor can I view the candy goals. I'm getting the same "Oops, something went wrong" error message other people are getting.

Thankfully, this problem is NOT affecting any navigational or reporting features. Everything else is running normal as far as I can tell. I'm still a relatively new user, so more points would be nice.

Thanks.

Is there a way to install the older version that worked?

Waze is every now and then switching on voice guidance.

I don't like voice guidance; I usually find it more distracting than helpful. Due to this, I switch it off...only to find (once a week or so) that it is suddenly switched on again. Why?
