My guess is we'll have to wait until they release an update compatible with the new WME.

porubcan wrote:berestovskyy, would it be possible to include SK (Slovakia) and CZ (Czech Republic) into those country specific checks?

12. BETA Lowercase street name (SK only, not for CZ)
50. BETA: Lowercase street name (with exceptions) (CZ only, exceptions: náměstí; nám.; nábřeží)
13. BETA: Two-way Freeway segment
53. City name on Railroad
63. Less than 3 letters long street name
64. More than 25 letters street name (ramps excl.)
68. No lock on Freeway
69. No lock on Major Highway
70. No lock on Minor Highway

thank you very much for great help and maybe just small suggestion - separate checks in the complete list into groups, e.g.:
- checks not adjacted to other scripts:
A. checks vallid for all countries
B. country specific checks
- checks using other scripts
C. checks vallid for all countries
D. country specific checks

this will allow better overview of all checks with separate numbering for each group so no need to renumber the list and if someone will reffer to check A13 it will be clear regardless of current version.

than you.

Hi berestovskyy

50. BETA: Lowercase ....... (CZ only, exceptions: náměstí; nám.; nábřeží) add třída; tř.; nábř.

than you.

While in the process of reviewing the example area for a potential new AM for the Great Lakes Region of the US, I had Validator crash my computer.

It crashed at the end of the scan with the final audio prompt sounding continuously. The crash was so bad that I had power down the computer. (PC with Windows 7.)

The scan for this PL took quite a while, so I wondered if the size of the report that was a factor.

I tried it again with a different PL and it worked ok.

If anyone wants to chance crashing their system the PL was:

UPDATE: I tried the same PL that previously crashed at "zoom=1" and "zoom=1" and it did not crash. I was too reluctant to try it again at "zoom=0".

The issue I had previously was while using the latest version of Chrome.

I scanned the same area again with the sound muted and it did NOT crash. I then unmuted the sound, and ran the scan and it still did NOT crash.

The only other difference, I can think of is that I shut down the background programs for Skype, and for Screenhero (desktop sharing).

If I get brave I'll try to narrow it down further at a later time.

Opinions please:

Would anyone edit this any differently? Note that street DOES have house numbers, and is NOT drive-able.

Of course Validator reports this with "No Inward" and "No Outward" connectivity. How else could Validator handle this?

I guess I'd be inclined to map it as a walking trail. It seems (though it remains essentially unstated) that this is why waze will route to the end of a walking trail when the address is associated with the trail.
I changed it to a Walking Trail. I have been under the assumption that ONLY Street could House Numbers.

Thanks.

We can go further and check if every word in the street name starts with a capital letter. But at the moment #94 is checking just the beginning of the street name.
Just a caution here. In the process of implementing this, be sure to still allow the use of capital letters within a word. As just one example, I have a local street named and signed "ProMedia Parkway" with no space between the two word parts with capital letters.

Not sure if this is even important enough to consider, as it is not likely to happen often.

#47 The drivable non-private segment has no single inward turn enabled at node B.

This segment is two-way segment, that has no connectivity at node B. The segment after node B is one-way away from node B. The only inward access to the segment is via private business road. This happened due to the abandonment of a railroad crossing for the road. The road is still city property.
