I think so, yes - most of the time when I look at areas I've recently edited, they're back in the state they were previously. However, every now and again WME seems to load just enough data to be able to show what should be the current state, then I'll drag the map slightly to check the next block of streets and everything reverts to pre-edit state again.
I think in situations like this, where WME is clearly fubar'ed and not worth using, Waze should simply turn off all access to it until the fault is resolved, rather than allowing us to continue logging-in, occasionally being given false hope that we'll be able to start editing again, and generally giving us all heart attacks when we see our recent edits apparently (I hope it is just apparently, and not actually...) wiped out. Might even make it easier for them to fix the problem, if the database isn't being continually hammered by editors reloading and reloading in ultimately futile attempts to get the maps loaded OK.
Would also be useful if the now more or less useless status page could return to something approaching its previous glory and receive more frequent updates regarding the current system status, as opposed to now being used more or less just as a place to stick announcements about future events.
