Brisbane City Council wishes to advise that during the period of the Royal Queensland Show 2014 (8-17 August) traffic flow in and around the RNA Showgrounds will be affected by road closures, revised street signage and park arrangement .
Road Closures:
Gregory Terrace between Costin and Exhibition Street, will be closed from 6.00am Monday 28th July until 4.00pm Wednesday, 20 August 2014.
• During the period of closure, access to the RNA will be provided for emergency service vehicles and vehicles displaying a 2014 permit. Flow will be one way only, with entry from Bowen Bridge Road and exiting to Brookes Street. Normal vehicular traffic will be detoured along Costin Street.
• Entry to Exhibition Street will be from Brookes Street (left turn only) into Gregory Terrace and into Exhibition Street.

Alexandria Street, between St Paul’s Terrace and Gregory Terrace will be closed from 6.00am Monday 28 July 2014 until 4pm Friday 22nd August 2014.

O’Connell Terrace, between Brookes Street and Wren Street will be closed to Eastbound traffic from 5am to 12 Midnight on Sunday 10th August, 2014.

Revised Traffic Arrangements
No Right Turn will be permitted from Brookes Street into Gregory Terrace
No Access from Wren Street into O’Connell Terrace
Walden Street and Wren Street shall operate as a one way street (entering Walden St from Campbell St) from 7.pm Wednesday 6th August to 3pm Monday 18th August.

Public Transport to and from this event is strongly recommended
Taxi Ranks will be established in Gregory Terrace
Buses will be situated at: O’Connell Terrace
Drop off zones (including disabled drop off) shall be in: Costin Street
