And that's exactly what I meant. Unless your stop is at the very end of that dead-end, there's no reason to continue to the end of the dead-end to turn around.

I submitted the info via a form a couple of weeks ago.
"Turn around when safe" or something similar is the best solution to any situation like this, whether it's dead-end U-turns or the need to make a U-turn on an unsplit road. That's how every other GPS and navigation app does it, and it works fine.
