Hmmmm, although isn't it true that the Shell and Chevron logos are typically in title case, whereas "TEXACO" is generally in all caps? :D

Oh, turns out it was me all along... Those long road trips really mess with the brain, I guess.

I also don't recall making this report in the same spot.

At first I was like, "So what's the problem here, exactly?"

But then I looked to the west

Not that that answers my question, but wow!

Personally, I usually don't "not there" police reports on the off chance that one might be patrolling the area or maybe relocated a half a mile down. Users don't get a notification saying "Someone reported your report as 'not there'", so I don't really understand how it'd have any deterrent effect.

I do the same for "Vehicle stopped on shoulder" reports which are for clearly abandoned vehicles – I don't report them personally, I don't thumbs-up them, but I don't report them as "not there", because I figure someone else would just report it again, making a fresh report that lasts longer than it would even with a thumbs up. Because technically, there isa vehicle stopped on the shoulder...

Am I wrong? I don't recall ever getting a message saying someone reported my report as "not there". Plenty saying they've been thanked, though. Maybe my reports are just that good 8-)

Taco909 wrote: Another interesting thing, she runs her colors in editor style, I run in default because traffic speeds are easier to see against the blue. Area Places were rendering on her map, but not on mine. It could have been the zoom level, I left mine at the default for our speed and she was zooming and panning all over the map looking for incidents ahead.
It'd be odd if they didn't show up at all, but Area Place names usually don't show up when navigating in 3D mode unless you start panning the map.

That happened in the Toolbox thread a few weeks ago, so a new Toolbox thread was made.

Hehehehehehehehehe. On my second-most-recent trip (which that report is from), I think I went to like seven or eight different Tim Hortons in seven days. That was a good trip!
