A request please. In the same way URO+ can overlay it's own conversation markers over the Waze supplied ones, would it be possible to provide an overlay for the actual UR marker where the UR begins with the "[ROADWORKS]" marker? Perhaps something with a cone in the marker.

In that way, roadworks markers would be more obvious in the editor when reviewing your area.

 Thank you

Whilst we wait, interminably, for Waze to provide editor notes, this is a great step in the right direction.

UK-speak for construction. See here for details. It's a scheme we've been using successfully for over a year now. When edits are done to the map to account for construction, all the details are posted to a Roadworks sub-forum so that we can keep track of the what's going on and the details are available to all editors.

One of the most useful features of the process is that we place a UR at the construction site that starts with the string "[ROADWORKS]" and includes a hyperlink to the relevant forum topic. Not only does it make it obvious why the UR is there, but URO+ can then have specific filters for these URs. Now, with the cone overlay, it looks fantastic. :D
The attachment cone UR.jpg is no longer available

I'd feel quite proud if you did. :D I'm sure Twister-UK could filter [CONSTRUCTION] as well. Mind you, we have to put up with Freeways and Parking Lots, so turnabout is fair play.

It's worked so well it was the basis for my proposal for a new type of editor comment </shameless plug>. Of course, HQ say they're working on something else - I'm sure that will be here soon. ;)

Same here for me - URO+ disappeared.

This error shows up in the console:

Nothing at all. These "special" notes are in no way special to Waze at all. I invented the UK Roadworks system and we started tagging all roadworks URs with [ROADWORK]. Twister-UK then did the fantastic job of giving them a different icon via URO.

When HQ declared that editors should no longer use railroads for notes, and it became clear they weren't going to provide something suitable, the system of tagged URs was simply extended to cover other tags.

Of course, if the UR is closed then (a) the person who raised it & anyone following it will be notified and (b) it stays on the map for a while and can be easily replaced.

When we finally got conversations on URs, I remember there were a lot of reports of them being closed by new editors who shouldn't have done so. I was ust thinking last night that the incidence of this is way down on what it used to be. Maybe they're learning?

I'm seeing a possible problem with the feature to unstack URs/MPs.

There are 2 MPs here - one closed "irrelevant data" and one open. When I hover over them, they unstack properly but, whichever one I click on, I get the closed one selected.

The open one can also be closed when you're done looking - I left it open to make the problem easier to demonstrate.

Additional information. In the above example, the closed MP was first in the stack. I've now found another pair where the open MP is first in the stack - and that one always gets connected.

I've also noticed that, if I have already got the un-shifted MP open, then hovering over the unstacked MP changes the pop-up with the information, but clicking on it has no effect.

Just guessing, but this might be something to do with the new behaviour of MPs where selecting one automatically centres it on the screen.

The prevent auto-centring is also affecting Map problems, which saves me asking for that. :)

However, could we have 'Replace "Next update request" button' working for MPs as well as URs please?

I might have been wrong! I'm sure MPs weren't centring earlier, but they are now. So, yes, I'd be happy to see that behaviour squashed as well.
