It's almost like Waze waited for this script to be fixed to mess it up again

So the real question is does the original script writer really care.... Does he care if someone hacks his code fixes it and publishes it.... he may be leaving it the way it is as a push back to wme....

That interface would give Validator a filtered view of WME and that view would look exactly like WME did before Waze 'updated' WME.

That should be possible (I'm not saying easy) and that would not violate the usage terms for Validator.

I know I can't do it, and it might be slow and some of the errors might be difficult to 'translate' from 'new WME' to 'old WME'. But it should be possible. And heck, it might even be easier than figuring out how to 'fix' Validator. :)

Just a crazy idea that occurred to me.

That's what I was talking about before when I mentioned the porting.... Just did not say it as well as you. It's the Brooklynez.....

Here's the big issue.... I know we have the talent amount us. I also know that I have to respect the wishes of a fellow editor. But at some point we need to respectfully have to make a choice to do something.
I know the original script writer is anoyed at the fact the many of hours went into fixing his script when they could have been avoided by staff.
We have come to accept this as par for the course. Now when changes are made to better the app and wme we get mad at the fact that they break our scripts.

This back and forth will never end.
I do believe that staff has gotten the message that we are upset and has started to work with the community to help lessen these ocurances.
But they we'll keep happening.
So now we have to ask the script writers to accept this as part of the game.

That's easy for me to say. But it seems to be the reality.
Validator has become an part of our everyday wme use, and to work without it is like working with one eye closed.....
Please open the script so that others can have at it ,or signal to us that you want it to die on this hill so another talented script can start to work on a new one.....

Thanks JD

Just disable the Validator extension.
Seeing as it is not working. That's what it said here a number of post ago so I just did it.

Some people reporting that it can work but you have no control over the order in which the fix loads so it is recommended to remove the extension
