Got my first Hebrew text in a UR today ... translated by FreeTranslation.com to be yet another complaint :o about Grand Island being a land mass rather than a river. Hey, maybe if I forward the Hebrew version to Waze Support, they'll try to do something about it the river boundaries sooner. ;)

Grand Island your area? I was up there a couple months ago for an interview.
It's about 90 miles as the crow flies, 115 miles via the road system provided by NYSDOT (which apparently has no crows working for it, except as road-kill removal specialists).

And this is a problem why? Did you not want to go where you asked Waze to guide you? :P

This was reported twice.... Someone is mad...
If you had built the bank there the first time they reported, they wouldn't have needed to report it again, now, would they? :P You're so inconsiderate -- just go build them a bank!

Are you sure? Based on the rather high number of cars parked facing north on the east side of the street, I would be led to believe that "S 1st St" should be two-way north/south rather than one-way south (unless the city changed the direction after the aerial image was captured). Might want to check into that one a bit more to be sure. ;)

Thanks for the backup, but I think I covered that point pretty well about five posts above yours. ;)

Both of course reported with GPS traces right where they should be along I-70
If those were from drives made last Saturday ... there was quite a bit of trouble that day with roads disappearing and causing recalculations and such. I had that problem along I-90 in PA and eastern OH, both in the morning and again on the return trip that afternoon. The roads were all there in the editor, but for some reason got temporarily lost on the way to the clients. :?

General error (user reported)
Description: shows highway east of actual location
When I turn on the GPS layer there, the segment of I-81 that he's on gets completely hidden by the arrows ... it's exactly where it should be based on the historical GPS tracks, the user's GPS track, and the location of the UR.

My response (if I ever get the chance to give one again ) -- "Um, yes ... that highway is US-11, which runs right beside where you're traveling on I-81 N -- what the problem is?"

I've got two worse examples on my daily commute: the Christmas goodies were placed out in a field and up on a hillside, at least 100 yards away from any road segment on the Waze map (not even a walking trail or a railroad). They'll be stuck there until Waze takes them away, unless someone goes Wazing with snowshoes. :P

Could this be the shields misplacement issue?
Don't think so ... I scanned over the area in the client, and the few I-81 shields that do show (most just show "I-81 S" and "I-81 N") are all right on I-81 ... and there are no US highway shields on US-11.

I didn't bother to copy & paste them all (not enough room in a forum post, probably!) -- but I just finished (I hope ;)) tracking a very jolly driver ;) down I-90 west all the way from Buffalo, NY to Conneaut, OH on New Year's Eve. He posted 35-45 UR's along the way (I lost count somewhere in the early twenties), each with a lengthy and detailed description of the minor rinky-dink road should have been crossing I-90 at that point (which of course, it already was in WME, but it didn't show up in the client due to the Wazer's speed).

This person is going to get very tired of reading emails from Waze about how "Spil, a Wazer like you" worked so hard on his behalf to get all those roads added -- either that, or he might just nominate me for sainthood! Sainthood or not, I surely do appreciate all the map update points that this kind Wazer allowed me to score. :D
