Thanks for the explanation.

So better we leave as it is, which also allows to use it everywhere it could be needed

I would like to change {{SelectionBar}}, which is used for navigation in the wiki editing manual, to include the Welcome to Waze Editing page that has recently been added to the manual.

I propose a change something like:
https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Template:Sel ... ar/sandbox

In order to provide a link to Welcome to Waze Editing page that has recently been added to the manual, I have added a link to this template.

Interestingly, that selection bar looks nice and compact in https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Waze_Map_Editor

but more bulky anywhere else.

Initially, I felt the same about such a long title, but I could not think of any other way to better attract the attention of New Editors.

Perhaps simply "New Editors" would be an improvement?

Such a thing can be done by adding "if" statements to the template. This significantly complicates the template, making it less easy to maintain and more work for the wiki engine to generate.
