[Script] WME Road Selector

Do you sometimes need select multiple segments based on some condition?
This script does this work for you.

Description of some conditions:
  • Alternate name (City or Street) – if checked the condition for "City", "Street" and "Unmamed segment" is related to alternate name (if the segment has more alternate names the result is true if at least one of the alternate names fulfills the condition)
    Manual Lock - if the segment has Automatic lock the result is false.
    Trafic Lock - if the lock is set manually the result is false
    Speed limit - segment has a speed limit in one or both directions
    New - segment has new (unsaved) id (either it is a new segment or split/joined from old one)
    Changed - segment was changed but not saved yet
    On Screen - segment is visible on screen (full or only its part)
I hope the other conditions are clear and they don't need any description.

Script allows selecting segments, which are selectable manually. This means it does not select segments on lower zooms (3 or less).

Hi, the problem is the long Name in Germany for "Narrow Street" :)
Workaround: Changing the WME language to English.

When using Road Selector as City = '(empty)' make sure that long segments (outside urban stain) is not selected to prevent "Smudge" when assigning City Name. ;)

Not sure if this is within the scope of what you want to do with this script, but a selection extrapolator would be really handy for naming unnamed basemap roads. Basically, I'd like to be able to select one or two segments, and then have the script select the segments which appear to be the continuation of that road.

Is there an expression that can be used to select dead end segments?
Example: I'd like to select these dead end segments that go to oil rigs so I can quickly change them to private road. https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... 6,61100643

yes it is. ability to export to a file. so when you install the script again, you can have all your setting only by restoring it.
