Thanks to you for all the hard work!! i hope you had a great time editing in this MapRaid.

We will for sure have another MapRaid in China, but for the time being, we will plan on some other places. Stay tuned, the next raid is coming soon!

Okay guys, we got the raid results!

Connectivity score went from 55% to 85%!

~ 2,361,000 segments handled.
~ 1,521,000 segments created.
~ 6,300 places resolved
and the hall of fame!


Congratulations to everyone!! and thanks for helping. It was totally an AMAZING mapraid, and there are a lot to come!

The numbers are coming from waze servers. The initial % represents an untouched Shanghai before the raid started. After the raid, enough segments were deleted, so yes, it could look like you guys did something more massive than it was.

I can get a list of the full raid members, but not sure if waze can get stats for everyone...

This kind of mapraid was my absolute favorite.. Almost started from scratch and drawing in roads..

I'm also would like to continue editing in china, there is still much to do. Many roads are still incomplete or disconected to no where.
The are is very big. I draw most the primary street, and some small street which conect the village or the residence area.

Some difficults are the upper deck street, could't see what happens below it.
I was several times in some cities in china, and i remember that the street below upper deck are also complex with junction etc. Some locals editor are very needed to complete the street conection.
Our purpose is to make the navigation are right showing the direction etc
