Hello all,

The US has long used the default Waze English base language for WME. We have just completed the "translations" of English to US English to better reflect language of the US. Below is a summary of the changes. Not all details are included because there are too many, and lots of them are repeats.

• Many PLACE CATEGORIES are updated/changed
• Several capitalizations not listed, such as ‘place(s)’ to ‘Place(s)’
• Junctions, when referring to the Big Junction is now Junction Box.
• Nodes, when referring to the object which connects multiple segments together at a point, are called ‘junction node.’
• Remove contractions
• Be more clear about the actual action the user must take in error, For example, ‘try again’ is ‘save again’
• ‘Split’ is changed to ‘cut’, meaning to make one segment into multiple shorter segments of the same directionality

Old desc: The roads are too far apart from each other and most likely a road is missing in between
New desc: Wazers appear to be driving between two roads, and there could be a road missing in between

Old soln: Draw a new road connecting the two disconnected roads
New soln: If a road really is missing, draw a new road connecting the two segments

Old title: Cross roads junction missing

Old desc: The roads intersect each other, however, there is no junction in the intersection point
New desc:The roads overlap each other, but there is no junction node at the intersection point

Old soln: Select both roads and create a junction by clicking the junction icon
New soln: If the roads do actually intersect, select them both and click the button which appears above the intersection to create a junction node. If they do not intersect, then adjust the Elevation of at least one segment

Old desc: The route goes through some unnavigable roads such as rails or private roads
New desc: Wazers' drives appear to go through some unnavigable roads types, such as railroad or walking trail

Old soln: Select the unnavigable roads and change its type
New soln: Determine if the route is accurate and change road type on segments as necessary. Ignore this error if the Waze route is not accurately located
