Believe me I've been bugging staff about it, also about them trying to find ways to make the points system more reliable regarding points updates which are often delayed..

As far as I know, and every time they have given me an answer it was that they are aware and their team is looking into it, but apparently it's taking them some time to solve it, in any case they never said it was fixed yet, so it's a known and ongoing issue which is being looked into by staff.

I lost count of how many times I repeated it and it always gets lost because of people who keep posting and posting without ever searching and reading.. but:
It's a known and ongoing issue which is being looked into by staff.

I'm used to the situation, I usually just try to post or re-post every 1-2 pages so that people who don't bother to read back very far find something more easily.

@G_W12: Some people also have had changes in their edit count, so it could be that other stats from the dashboard were also affected, but I haven't noticed it myself.

Something very, very strange is happening to the edit count/point system. My edit count is restored back up to 14,000+.
I've moved your post as what you've been observing was not due/related to throttling but rather to the issue described in this thread.

I don't really think this is the right thread for your issue. It doesn't seem to be a points problem.
From what you're saying you never connected back to your first account which had your points, because new nickname = new account.

The error message you mention (nickname used by others) is only displayed as an error when you try to create a new account, which seems to be what you did. It would never have been displayed if you were just trying to login, or you'd have had a "wrong username" or "wrong password" error instead.

When you are logged out from the app and it want to log back in, you should scroll down and click on "Already a Wazer?" to login and use your existing account.

On the login screen scroll/look down and click on "Already a Wazer?" to login with an already existing account, if you did not do that, you most likely created a new account.

The negative points issue is worldwide and affects all accounts. Staff has been made aware of the issue.

This is not the first time that this happens around the same time as points update delays and I can't recall a time when the totals were not corrected back and all missing points given back.

Yes, staff has been doing some work on the points server, as always it should go back to normal soon enough.
