Ever since I've been using Waze, everytime there has been an issue with points, it was just a matter of time before it fixed itself.

Whether it was just a delay with sync or that Waze staff was looking into it, usually it never exceeded 1-2 weeks before things got back to normal and usually after that no points were lost.

As you can see this is not at all unusual from the 300+ posts in this thread.

It currently shows a known issue for the NA server which has been going on since February 8th. Not fixed yet.

Unfortunately: "Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be reversed by the Waze team."

You should however have waited for the points to sync, as this thread demonstrates it's common for points to temporarily be at 0 on a new phone and that is usually resolved within a few hours only.

Are you sure you are logged into the right account? On the App login, the username is cAsE sEnSiTiVe, just like the password is.

The phone number login is broken and usually does not work, it's always best to use the username/password combo.

Your screenshot shows William: 2862 points

As mentioned in this thread if you logged into the correct account on the App, it may take a few hours (at best) or up to seven days until your stats appear correctly. Everytime you try things to "fix" it, by re-installing or else.. you're actually increasing that delay and resetting things. The best technique is to wait for stats to sync with the servers, Waze points work in a strange way with some things being daily updates and others weekly updates, most if not all of it is not real-time.

As everyone can see by the number of pages in this thread, this is definitely not a new problem, it has happened before and things usually solve themselves out after 1-2 weeks no matter what people do.
I don't remember anyone who permanently lost points.

As a reminder your points can be found on your App, on your public profile waze.com/user/editor/your_username and on the Waze dashboard, since the numbers don't all sync in real-time the values may differ from eachother.

Two weeks, and still no change ... could it be the Holiday Season? Maybe the Grinch stole Christmas, along with the Report (and other) points :?

Since yesterday I've noticed my total points dropped from over 30k to 28k, which is back to where I was a few months back and this has also affect my country ranking. A quick scan through the forum suggests that my case is a little different from others where most are having problem with slow points update rather than losing points. I've check the website and ran my account on 2 android devices which are all showing that I now only have over 28k of points. I'm sure you can run a quick query on the database to verify that I should have over 30k of points. The last time I checked my points was last weekend on 2 different devices with the same account logged on and both are showing I was over 30k points. As someone with enough experience on using waze I understand that points are slowly added to our account after each drive, but this is something new and I've never encountered this since I started actively using the application about a year ago. Please assist.
