I am a new user and have logged multiple drives and reported several road hazards. After 3 days I am still getting the "Oops! Something went wrong. We're working on it right now. Please try again later." message when trying to access the dashboard from the web. I have tried this from multiple computers using multiple browsers. I am able to login and it shows my username in the corner of the website, but it always shows that error message on the dashboard page.

On the scoreboard section of the mobile app (on iOS) it shows "counting your first miles" and shows 0 points. Although if I click on the points menu it shows that I have earned several of the bonus points categories (first report, first 10 miles, first week with 2 days, first friend on Waze, etc).

It is possibly I may have inadvertently changed my username on the first day I downloaded the app and joined. If so is it possible that is the reason for these problems, and is the only fix for that deleting my account and creating a new one?

I am leaving for a big trip pretty soon and would love to have these issues ironed out before then to ensure get all of the points I will accumulate for that.

I first signed up for Waze on the afternoon of 3/7. The web dashboard and the scoreboard on my iOS app finally started working for me on the afternoon of 3/15. Thanks @vince1612 for providing a tangible number for this!

Dashboard is down for me too, and I don't know where to submit a bug. I just found this topic, that's it.

As of today, I am still getting the same message. I can find no way to report it or request support, as I just get redirected to FAQs. Irrespective of any browser I use. Any more information on it or a direction to create an actual trouble ticket??

We're working on it right now. Please try again later."

Never mind, I just logged in on a very old computer and browser set up, it works fine. Go figure.....

Welcome to the Waze forums,

I'm not sure why you added your post in a dashboard issue thread since this is about the live map..

If you mean Calais (France) to Rome (Italy) then the explanation is rather simple. This would be a 1'650km-1'750km trip. Waze was built to handle routing for daily commutes in cities or between cities on much shorter distances. Currently it cannot manage trips this long.

This infofmation can be found in the Waze help:
Not working on long trips

Waze is currently able to calculate a route of up to ~1000 miles. If the route is longer than that, Waze won't be able to provide a route. As a workaround, try splitting your route to smaller sections, setting your destination to somewhere along your route and, once you get there, setting it again.
If your route is shorter than 1000 miles, please verify under Settings-> Navigation that:
  • Type is set to Fastest.
  • Dirt roads is set to Don't allow.
  • Avoid freeways is disabled.
So you could try setting up Basel (CH) or Dijon (FR) as via points depending on your preference.

It can sometimes take up to 7 days for scoreboards and points to update or sync. As long as it is under a week, or 3 days in your case, most of us would simply advise you to wait a little more. If the problem persists beyond that then we can give you other suggestions to try.
