Thanks, I think I've gathered enough feedback for them to start looking some more and getting back to us. Please not that it's never really relevant to report drives missing from the last few days (less than a full week) as this is a VERY common thing.

Quick update from staff:

They’ve closed the internal issue with drives from March-April since most people reported improvements or that they were back. Also they are upgrading the database to a stronger one, a process that should be completed within a couple of days. This upgrade can cause some delays for recent drives.
It should be completed within a week from now.

Please wait until they are done upgrading the database.

Sorry but you seem to be confusing two different things here and crying over the wrong one.

Losing editing areas from previous drives is 100% normal and has always worked this way, editors can only edit in areas they've driven in recently. It isn't related to drives not being recorded or showing up at all and is a different topic. See:

90 days is the period of time a user's prior drive will enable permission to edit around that drive before it expires and prevents further edits. This is not going to change, but you need to understand we're talking about a different issue here and it's better we don't confuse people by mixing them up.

Unfortunately we are unable -as community members- to investigate these problems ourselves, only staff can access user databases.

This means we cannot provide answers for specific cases, we can only coordinate information (if we have any) when there is a confirmed issue affecting many accounts for the same dates. Whenever it is about a single account we won't be able to help and it's best to contact Staff Support directly at:

Let's also not forget, because it hasn't been mentionned much in the last few pages of this thread, that sometimes Drives simply cannot be recorded properly, not because of a server issue, but for other reasons, the most common are:

• Using an external bluetooth GPS device
• Losing cellular data network in areas with no or few cell towers

Alternatively to writing to Staff Support, you can also get in touch with Champs from your own local community by finding your local forum here: viewforum.php?f=19
They will not be able to investigate themselves anymore than we can, but Community Coordinators may be able to speak directly to staff to ask about your case, if support is not giving you answers.

@G_W1Z - I'm not an expert on this but your device doesn't seem to be an external bluetooth GPS device, it seems to be able to make calls only, so it should not be a problem.
I meant bluetooth devices which provide the phone with a GPS position (instead of using the phone's own GPS hardware), these are often called "Mouse GPS Receivers".

Does anyone have examples from after April 22nd that are still unsolved (but not from the last 7-10 days)?

We shared examples with staff but haven't heard back this week. We probably won't until the next since today is Thursday and Waze HQ is in Israel, so they will be leaving for the weekend (Friday-Saturday for them).

Delays of up to 7 days for drives can be considered totally normal. Especially if it was 600 miles..
Waze is a commuter app before anything else. People started using it for travelling also but such distances instead of the home-work-sopping mall-home routines are always creating delays as 600 miles is 10x more than even a 60 miles commute.
