I’ve tried reboot phone, change Location permission for Waze to “Allow all the time”, disable Location permission for Android Auto – nothing helps.


I'm having the same problem and I don't use Android Auto. I've used Waze for 6 years and hadn't had this problem until recently. I'm on a Android A10e with Verizon Wireless. I've checked all of the settings, everything is on (use bluetooth, use wireless, improve accuracy, use location all the time, etc.).

Not sure what changed, over the past few days. Will try clearing all cache on App and try again later.

Thoughts on what it could be? Are they finally kicking us out of the old, cleaner Waze versions? Thanks!
