It appears the OS have now started secomissioning their old map builder API on which that map relies, and are expecting users to migrate over to their shiny new API which calls up map data that loses much of the stuff that made the older OS maps so useful for us...

Needless to say, I've started to look for suitable alternatives now.

2.51 updated to work with the one.network URL - fortunately it appears the underlying map code for that site is (for my purposes at least) unchanged, so this was a quick fix...

Also noticed that the OS seem to have rolled back the decommissioning of their map builder site, as the OpenData link in WMEOD is working once again... How long this'll last is anyone's guess however, so I'll continue investigating alternatives.

2.52 2.53 2.54 plays nicely with the latest WME production release... with thanks to Iain for noting that, whilst one of the WME properties WMEOD used was still present, it no longer functioned the same way it used to do. Nice...

2.55 fixes some problems with how alternate names were being handled (thanks to Iain for noticing some of them, which then led to the others being discovered...)

Also note that the OS data used by the script has been updated to the latest releases.

2.56 uses UTF-8 encoding for the streetname data, which fixes some errors noted with Welsh names.

2.57 replaces any HTML-encoded characters returned from the server with their decoded equivalents - with thanks to my namesake for finding this bug...

2.58 fixes the code that enables the single-click mode to apply addresses to segments - thanks to my namesake again for spotting this one as well...
