What does green tick means.

Post by dewitg
Why in some events appears a green tick and not in the rest (ex. All Saints Fair)
Is perhaps an acceptance of Waze that consider more important labeled events?

This question hasn't received an answer yet. Nor did I find an answer anywhere else.

Other MTEs are also submitted but don't have a green tick.
So the green tick will say that a push message is/will be send?
And the ones without a green tick no push message is/will be send?
Most of the MTEs don't have the green tick so just a very low amount will have the push message?

Or is it approved by Waze after submitting by us?
And it will not say anything about a push message.

And we were told that it should be an automatically process. So no review of someone from Waze closures team?

Once your event is marked as “Submit”, somebody from the Waze closures team will review the event and decide whether to send a push message for it.
Once this tool is fully operational, the community will have all permissions to self manage this process.
That's from the WME Events Editor Guide.
And I was told the same by mail end of July 2016.

It seems to me that to have the chance that waze sends the push message it's necessary submit the event at least 48 hours before it starts.

I received an answer to my question on this.

Hi.
You are right. The sign means the MTE was published and push message will be sent.

Best regards,
