the event is submitted and pushed to the users

It was never really clearly explained how the person from the closure team decides this.MapSir wrote:For a push to be sent, all event closures need to be created in the WME 48 hours in advance of the event start time.
Once your event is marked as “ready for review”, somebody from the Waze closures team will review the event and decide whether to send a push message for it.
We were also told that later on the community will also have options to self-manage this process, but that's not currently the case.

I quoted my source (statement from April 2016, a while ago) I guess if you could quote the other staff statement you got told and when it was posted it could help clarify which info should be seen as more recent/accurate.Leorenaud wrote:And we were told that it should be an automatically process. So no review of someone from Waze closures team?
Of course it would be much easier if we got a statement from staff on this including the criteria for getting a push notification.

Allright so it sounds like the automatic process would be the more recent info and probably what's in place. All that's left for us to find is a reliable source that explains how the automatic process decides on this.Leorenaud wrote:That's from the WME Events Editor Guide.
And I was told the same by mail end of July 2016.

It's not based on the time since the event was created. You can submit the event for it to be published, but staff can choose if they want to send a push notification or not, currently via an automated process which we don't know much about. But it's definitely not a question of "how long".aureozb wrote:after how long the creation of the event, should the green ticket appear?
