New WME version v1.32
Hi Everyone,
this version of the WME includes for the first time two new features:
New Layer Panel & Permalinks Format:
The newly designed layer component, also brings along a new format of permalinks. This is part of our continued efforts to improve the functionality of the WME.
What you need to know about it?
The feature will enable you to get an in-depth view over the editing history of segment and place elements on the map and to make educated decisions regarding editing behaviour. Element history is located on the bottom of the attribute side panel of segments and places (turn information is currently relatively limited). Every field in Element History represents operations on a specific element per save.
What you need to know about it?
* Brazil: Added new "Headlights" attribute to segments
* Venue entry point dragging caused freeze - FIXED
* "W" shortcut creates save count when not needed - FIXED
* Street View dragging bug - FIXED
* Webpack: Expose ViewHelpers and DivIcon for scripts
* Updated wiki links to waze-o-pedia
* Removing Chat intro tooltip
* New Translations
* New First Time Editor Experience - not fully visible yet, we'll post more information separately at a later point.
Enjoy the new features!

New Layer Panel & Permalinks Format:
The newly designed layer component, also brings along a new format of permalinks. This is part of our continued efforts to improve the functionality of the WME.
What you need to know about it?
- As discussed here old permalink format will be supported for another year. After that lat, long, zoom & id of old permalinks should still work fine.
- Cities and Map Comments will not be supported in old permalinks
- Layer filters (closed problems, residentials etc.) won’t be supported in old permalinks
When opening an old permalink which has the problems layer turned on, the new layer switcher have the 'Map Issues' group turned on but none of it's children which means that no problems will be shown. - Map Chat moved to left not be covered by layerpanel, zoombar moves left with click on layer panel
- Opening Permalinks should not change you default configuration, unless you start making changes. - STILL COMING
- Out product manager is still working on hover option and better indication for "More options" - STAY TUNED

What you need to know about it?
- Please keep in mind that only edits from the editor can be tracked by element history. Operations done from the client or our infrastructure team will not show in the element history.
- In addition, Element history only covers a limited amount of time, as we only started storing the history about a year ago. In general, Element History will be visible as far as we have stored data.
- Finally, please know that the Element History feature is a constantly evolving feature that needs to be maintained. However we cannot commit to covering every existing or new feature in the WME.
- There are still a few minor bugs that we are fixing.
