What to do with an "unknown street"?
Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere, but I haven't spotted it.
Waze has numerous "unknown streets" which were presumably created by some sort of initial load of map data, since they don't appear to have been edited.
Where they correspond to a real road, obviously they should be updated with road type, direction, name, turn restriction, etc.
What when they don't correspond to a road that can be driven? Here is an example from my neck of the woods:
https://world.waze.com/editor/?zoom=5&l ... =121542562
The SW end is a real tarmac road as far as a farm, and I've edited to show that as a street. The remaining 4.6km is un-tarmaced, gated, and there is no pubic right to drive along it. (Much of it is open to the public on foot or bicycle, but I don't think that's relevant for Waze?)
I could just leave it, but it shows up on the client, where it seems unnecessary clutter to me. Plus the "unknown" status makes the map editing look unfinished.
I could change it to a "dirt road", but is this appropriate for something you can't get a car along?
Should I simply delete it?
