MAR - GLR Collaboration Program
Greetings Everyone,
We are very excited to announce a new program and opportunity for the MAR region! This new program, we will be in a more formal cross collaboration with GLR (Great Lakes Region) and MAR (Mid-Atlantic Region) to effectively increase the communications and relations, as well as sharing of editors between both of the regions. What does that mean for you? It means granting of AM within GLR’s region and a great way of venturing out to meet & edit with other editors!!!
Minimum Qualifications to Apply
- Have at least a few months of active editing the Waze maps.
- Have completed at least 5000 quality edits
- Be a Level 2 Editor or Higher
- Must have a current AM within the MAR region for at least the 45 day grace period.
- Must be registered with the Discord chat program & be active
MAR & GLR Contact / Liaison
Mid-Atlantic Region (MAR): LennyNRPD
Great Lakes Region (GLR): joerodriguez12
Those editors who are interested in applying for this program, should contact your home regions Liaison, as well as providing which state that you would like to work in. For the Great Lakes Region you will be able to choose from the following states,
- Illinois
- Indiana
- Michigan
- Ohio
- Wisconsin
Please feel free to select a specific area of interest within the state of your choice and provide us with that location via a Permalink (PL) and any additional requests that you may have. We will do our best with accommodating any requests you may have, but subject to final determination by the region's leadership team. If you prefer us to pick a location for you, please state that as well. Please also include a PL to your current AM area for viewing.
How Cross Region Communications will work
Once we receive that you're interested, the Liaison will begin the process of getting in contact with your current AM’s State Managers and will provide us with their thoughts on your work and you as an editor. Once we receive their determination we will make a recommendation to the (A)RC’s for consideration into the program. Area sizes will be chosen based on a SM recommendation (if any) to the regions Liaison. Please note that while we can recommend, Regional Management will have the final say on acceptance and Size Limit.
The final step will be the Liaison making contact with you and directing you to submit an AM Application for that area upon acceptance into the program.
Please feel free to post here any questions or comments. Look forward to hearing from you!!!
