Checking Australian Government sources to confirm locality
Good Evening,
What sources of information are we allowed to use to confirm which locality an area falls within?
I am not talking about importing or copying data but what sources of information are we allowed to check to see where particular localities change? I have found a data.gov.au CCBY4.0 source for all victorian locality boundaries. I also know that not all locality boundaries are marked by signs on the road side - especially on secondary and tertiary routes.
I understand that we can't violate copyright, but there has to be some level of fact checking we can do that isn't a violation.
Cheers,
Ashley
