I think the request is to connect this road to Kosovo.

This would be a mistake, since this is not a legal border crossing. These two segments should be separated and not connected: https://www.waze.com/editor?env=row&lon ... ,390830671

Please verify with the authorities which border crossings exist and are allowed for all passengers (not just local crossing). Only those international crossings should be connected.

Hi RhRiri,

I agree that all public driveable roads should be mapped, as long as they are legal to drive on. In this case, it is illegal to cross from one segment to another. This is similar to having a sign like this:

We would definitely not map that as connected and turns allowed, with an explanation that it is none of our business that it is illegal. The effect of leaving illegal crossings connected would be to navigate the drivers to the crossing even though they won't be able to proceed, which is not a great navigation experience.

Not sure if you looked at the image, but there is a physical barrier here at the border, which prevents traffic:

Would you please correct the map by disconnecting this segment?

Thanks!

Hi,

Indeed, Electro talked about joining roads between Albania and Kosovo (Serbia).
The point is that as editors, we have to draw EVERY public roads, even between 2 countries, no matter which countries.
I asked to my french Waze colleagues, and they all agree : If a public driveable road exists in real life, it has to exist in Waze ; The fact that these roads are authorized or not, is none of our business at all.
To draw a road is not like giving authorization to drive on it if it is forbidden.
