I have often thought that the hazard notification functionality is not very safe to use when the car is moving, too much time spent looking at screen rather than the road ahead and when you do eventually post the update it`s map position will not be overly accurate.

Would it not be a good idea to be able to add shortcuts to the map display which would be user configurable. So for instance a single touch button for a stationary vehicle on the hard shoulder on your side of the rd and or pot hole warning. This would have the benefit of a accurate map position and most importantly less time spent looking at the app scrn.

In many countries it is also possible to use speech recognition to report the alert.

Alternatively, it is also possible to drag the orange button up to immediately report a road hazard (though some additional steps will still be needed). That's one step less already.
