Newbie needing some help

Post by LightRobin
Hi, Newbie here looking for some help

What do you do in a situation where houses on one side of a road have one street name and houses across the road have a different street name, I assume you cant give a street two different names.
For example in Windmill, Porterstown, Ireland, one side of the road is 36-31 windmill square and across the road is 1-5 windmill court
The issue is that navigation is all kinds of messed up in this estate (it will almost always bring you to the wrong house) and a big reason for it is because of what I've mentioned above, e.g. if you search for 35 windmill court it will bring you to 35 windmill square.

All help is appreciated

Hi, welcome here :-) A common practice I have noticed is to make a footpath and name it accordingly. In this way, you can assign house numbers to the footpath which will be next to the street. Hope that answers your question.. :-)

It would look something like this: https://waze.com/en-GB/editor?env=row&l ... =406674760

That's exactly the practice we follow :) Here's another example for you:
