Voice navigation talking in two voices

This only started happening a few days ago. 
During navigation the directions will sometimes be said half by the chosen voice and then half by another voice... The directions themselves are fine, but it's like Waze is having an identity crisis. 

Using a Oneplus 8, fully up to date. 
The car is a UK Ford Fiesta 2021.

Me too , I use English UK, Kate and occasionally the navigation is in two voices as well

Do hope for a solution soon as it is irritating with 2 voices appearing on different part of the road during navigation, I was thinking that where is that another voice appearing?  :lol:

Staff are aware of the issues.
They will be investigated & a fix released in time.
It will have to be tested by the beta testers before being released to the production app.

They are working on getting this resolved.  Hopefully it will be fixed in the near future.

Happening to me recently as well. I just assumed they were re-doing Kate one word at a time. It’s really weird to hear Voice 1 “turn left” Voice 2 “Then turn right” lol. 

Not a huge deal but glad I’m not the only one.

Still waiting.  I reported the issue through the app and the techs keep asking me questions via email as if I'm the only one having the problem.  I keep telling them to look here at the two threads discussing the problem but that message hasn't yet been absorbed.  I'm about to try Australian Kylie to see if I like her and this nonsense will stop under another voice choice.

After going through all the support rigmarole on why Kate now has two voices, I received this email today from Waze.  Looks like those of us that like her are just SOL for a while.
Thank you for replying to our email. We're here to help you.

I’ve looked into your specific problem. It turns out our development team knows about it, but it’s taking longer than expected to fix, and we don’t have an exact timeline.

Thanks again for your feedback. We hope this gets solved quickly. In the meantime, keep updating the app periodically, as we release updates and fixes every month. One of them may include a fix to your issue.
