I have set up a twitter account for Waze in Ireland.
The account is @WazeIreland https://twitter.com/WazeIreland

Several other countries had "Community Accounts" and I figured it was about time we joined in.

Waze define 3 levels of social media accounts:
1. Brand page:

set up and managed by a Waze employee working from Waze Headquarters

2. Partner page:

set up and managed by an official Waze partner

3. Community page:

set up and managed voluntarily by a member of the community

Obviously, I'd like it to be successful so am hoping many of you will follow the account.

I have already followed a lot of accounts that provide useful driving advice, such as police, local authorities and driving organisations. The list of followed accounts is available through the link above. If anyone has suggestions on other accounts to follow, let me know on this thread, or better yet follow and tweet @WazeIreland directly!!

Waze have promised me an icon with a flag for the account. Hopefully will have that shortly!
