How does Waze use your location?

When you have location services always on, Waze will occasionally check your phone’s location. This is used to remember your parking spot, see traffic around you and more.

If there’s traffic, Waze will tell you about it so you can arrive on time.

Turning on location services

In iOS Settings, scroll down until you see Waze. Tap on Waze to open the preferences.

1. Tap "Location"
2. Choose "Always"

Go to Settings to update your location permissions.
