Let us start with the good: the food was hot when it arrived at our table and the portions were good. Fries, especially, were double-fried which gave them a nice crunch and they were perfectly seasoned. Also our waitress, Emma, was fantastic. This, alone, is worth three stars.
Now lets get to the bad: We had to move seats. We wanted to sit outside and were put at a table in the corner with no umbrella and felt forgotten about. Other tables, seated after us, had their servers visit them. I went inside and requested an indoor table so we could get service and wouldn't be in the hot sun.
It seems like the staff here are very inefficient. A lot of people standing around not knowing what they're doing (we were told by the outside host to go inside and the inside host was not ready for us and asked us to go back outside, for instance) and our food, and food of other tables around us, came out at different times, and all of this despite being well staffed. There is no telling how much money this business is losing by the inefficiency here.
Will we come back? Sure. The food was good and the price was reasonable. Emma is proof that the server can make or break a visit.
