Second trip with similar results both times. We really had high hopes after being impressed by Kindred. We’re foodies but the menu is too obscure. Service was fine but the cocktails took too long. We love a nice meal and are willing to pay for it but you can imagine our surprise when our son’s entree showed up as $54.99 on the bill. Our 9 year old son, who is admittedly a foodie but has eating restrictions, ordered the crab legs at market price. We expected them to be pricier than the average meal and you obviously take a risk ordering things at market price but we were a bit taken aback at the final price. He got 4 slender crab legs with no sides for that price. We would have appreciated if the staff had warned us or made an alternative suggestion. Even the 2 slices of watermelon we ordered our other son was $4.
