Overall, this is a great hotel to stay in. The majority of the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. The only reason for a 4-Star overall is that I attended a convention and registered over the phone for the discounted rate. Whoever took my reservation spelled my last name wrong and when I attempted to check in they said I didn't have a reservation. The very helpful desk clerk went to get the day supervisor who was very confrontational.
When she asked if I had my confirmation number and I said I didn't, she said, "we don't have a reservation for you," to which I stated that I had made it over the phone, I never received an email confirmation, and that it wasn't my fault there wasn't a reservation. She replied with, "It's YOUR FAULT that you aren't providing me with a confirmation number," with a LOT of attitude! I didn't reply to that, but my face apparently did. She followed up with, "we're really trying to help you out here," to which I tactfully stated, "That's not what your answer just told me."
Eventually, we found the error was with my last name being misspelled. Because it was before my room was available, I had to come back later to get my keys. This is when we discovered that the phone agent had only booked me for 1 night instead of 2! However, the VERY NICE AND RESPECTFUL desk agent was able to fix this immediately.
