My mother was in Palmetto General Hospital for a week; she was admitted through Emergency. The staff that took care of her was very compassionate and attentive (nurses, paramedics, and doctors). They showed concerned for her, and were extremely patient and caring. I am very thankful to them all. We are living in difficult times, and healthcare workers often work under pressure: short staff, exposing themselves to illnesses, on their feet for 12+ hours... However, a lot of them put into the effort to not only do their job, but to show kindness in the process.
