Our room was a wreck. Desk chair was filthy with hand prints all over the material, the back of the bathroom door was filthy, tub drain was broken and sharp, and a half inch gap under room door with bugs coming in at will.
We had reserved 3 nights. We checked in after 6pm on our first night. The room was in poor shape. I spoke to the woman at the desk that night about our room. I told her we would be checking out in the morning. She said she was new and we needed to speak to the manager in the morning. In the morning the manager was not available. We were told the manager would be in after 12 noon. We checked out leaving our phone number to be contacted. The manager did not call us. Another woman from the hotel called and said we would be charged for the second night since we did not cancel the second night before 6pm the night before. I explained that we checked in after 6pm and expected the room to be in better condition. We have tried to work with the hotel to get our refund for the second night. All I have got is the run around.
