This was our first time at a Zoo. I keep saying to my Son, I’ll take him but it was mostly as trying to do something different and in my day a visit to the Zoo certainly was refreshing. Good to see in modern times that some retention and best of all education is served to the kids. I say education as the animals we saw today, you’ll not see everyday and my Son was in awe. A little taken aback at times and to be honest he jumped a few times (do did I) just did not show. Zoo experience for me compared to mine back home, animals that are even rarer to see - Pumpkin the Ant Eater and finding out they live a solitary life (lucky pumpkin) My Son loved the Camels and seeing the little monkeys, I’m not even going to attempt their names.... Overall today was a first for us and we truly enjoyed the Zoo, Santa Ana Zoo we will return as the rides are open on weekends and our visit today on a Wednesday the rides are closed. Parking at the Zoo depending on your visit time is limited, unless I never saw more parking. They are doing construction around the zoo towards (Lyon) this is clear and they have people guiding traffic. The opening of the Zoo is very welcoming and the girl who sold our tickets was very pleasant, I had been saying for so long to my Son ZOO we are going for him to finally see what I’ve been going on about. A lot to do and see for kids under 12 more the best age group, best part on Santa Ana Zoo is it’s location. Passed by if so many times, today seeing what is right on our doorstep was so rewarding and to see my Sin’s face as bright as his Sweater... Worth it Thanks to all for making my Son’s visit memorable.
