Sweet little spot for small children. We went on a Monday morning. It wasn't crowded at all. My 3 and 5 year old had a blast. The rides were closed, but we already expected that. We had a yummy (expensive) lunch. Don't come here expecting a huge sprawling animal sanctuary with all the amenities of the San Diego Zoo. But this was nice for a quick half day of fun and learning.
My only real qualm was that the enclosures for some of the animals looked more like cages than anything else. For instance the ocelot looked like it needed more room to run around.
Overall, if was a nice affordable zoo and I plan to return.
