Mom was in for an infection of the heart valve. From ER triage to main hospital, to cardiac tower, to discharge, she had a team of attentive specialists and staff caring for her around the clock. I was there much of the time and can honestly say I couldn't imagine her receiving better treatment anywhere else. Especially in the cardiac tower, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Sure, the food won't make it into Zagat or win any Michelin stars, but that's not the point. If I ever need to be hospitalized, I can only hope I'm close to University.
