Hi,

My address is 315 Stanwich Road, in Greenwich Connecticut. The Waze App has the address improperly placed which causes a LOT of issues with Ubers, Lyfts, friends, etc.

There is a private road at the entrance to 311 Stanwich Road, which as the sign says, is the entrance for 311 Stanwich Road, 315 Stanwich Road and 317 Stanwich Road. 313 Stanwich Road is NOT on this private road, and actually is a couple hundred yards further up Stanwich Road. As a result, Waze thinks the entrance to 315 Stanwich Road is PAST 313 Stanwich Road. But, as noted above, it’s not. The entrance to 315 Stanwich Road is at the exact same place as the entrance to 311 Stanwich Road.

If the Waze community could fix this, so that 315 Stanwich Road is moved to the same spot as 311 Stanwich Road, and NOT past 313 Stanwich Road, I would be eternally grateful.

Picture attached so you can see what I mean about the entrance to this private road.

I should mention also — Google Maps has it RIGHT. On Google Maps, it correctly shows that 315 Stanwich Road is before the 313 Stanwich entrance and at the same spot as 311 Stanwich Road.

Thanks for your report and the details! I’ve converted the address points to a newer version in Waze that allows one to be routed onto driveways, etc. These changes can take a bit to go live on the app.

Please note: you might need to completely redo your search for that address because the Waze app does not automatically refresh your prior searches to the newly edited location. Suggested / auto-populated results might possibly be from alternate sources, so it’s not a Waze location, and will be incorrect.
If later this week, you are still betting bad routing to any of those address points, please completely re-type your address in the text box and hit the search button. Also if you have saved them as “home” or “work”, you will need to delete that and re-save it to preserve the correct pin location.

Safe travels,
