44869 Bochum Holzstr Access Only Street

Hello everyone, I would like to report a long-term change in traffic routing for the map data:

Location: 44869 Bochum

Affected street: Holzstr.

Section: entire Holzstr.,

Also affected are Hesternstr. and the street In der Rhode.

Reason: A major construction site on Eppendorfer Str. (sewer reconstruction) has been set up.

Duration: The work is scheduled for a planned 2.5 years.

Details: The previous 30 km/h zone has been officially declared a “residents only” street for the duration of the work (traffic sign 260 with the additional sign “residents only”).

Could someone please mark this as a “Private Road” in the editor or block routing for through traffic, so that non-local Wazers are no longer incorrectly navigated here?

Hi @beermudah, I’ve changed Holz- und Hesternstraße and In der Rhode to private roads and closed Eppendorfer Straße.

I suspect that the street In der Mark is also an access-only road. Otherwise, it would be the direct cut-through from the closed Eppendorfer to Gartenstraße.
Do you know if that’s correct?
