I see your point.
For that 大同路 case, it can be only draw the place and put 弄 number in its address-house number, since it seems the 村 might be the only place on that 弄。

I meant for more general cases, where there could be different places on the same 弄 (or be it 巷、胡同 etc):
e.g.
Hotel A @ XX路100弄1号
Factory B @ XX路100弄5号
etc.

Assume the 弄 could be long enough, so the navigation stop points are significantly apart.
So shall we draw the street of 弄 or not?

If in this case we also just expect the navigation to lead up to the 弄口 (on the XX road), then it’s also ok to use 弄 number in house number, without drawing the 弄 street.

If the street were to be drawn, house numbers (point places) can be added as and when necessary.

BTW, I have not edited any address with such case, just sharing my thoughts on this discussion. :slight_smile:
And of course, if in future I encounter such case, I will follow whatever is concluded by all.

I agree that there are many situation. For this case, it is better to use option 3.

Don’t forget that the address we put is for search purpose. In your example, Hotel A and Factory B are a place area/point. They will be marked in the correct location on the map and Waze will direct us to the exact location if we use Hotel A and Factory B’s name to search. So the address in the place area/point is no use for search purpose, it is only for information.

Sure sometimes people will search the address instead of searching the place name. When ppl search XX路100弄1号, Waze should give us the search result from the street segment, not form the place. So map the 弄 if possible especially for a long one. If the 弄 is not drivable, use non-drivable type segment such as foot path, etc.
