I work as a paramedic in Craig county Oklahoma for a number of years. Almost all mapping programs including Waze, Google maps, Tom Tom and so on do not put you at the right destination on county roads. The county roads are state 911 addresses based on the 0 block E and W being the new mexico border and N and S being the Kansas border. For some reason, even with this absolute mapping system, the destination is usually off by about 1-2 miles and no direction based navigation can be used. We always map on a paper map or pan and zoom on Google maps. My question is: what would be the best route of action as to editing so the entire county will reflect correct addresses? Sorry if I’m kicking a dead horse here, I’ve searched the forum and cannot find a good answer.
Have you tried nudging some of the house numbers in Waze? If a house number has not been modified by an editor, it will not be used and Google will be used instead for the location of the address. Also, the county roads may need to have alt names including the cities of their postal addresses in order for house numbers of them to show up when you search the address

Thanks for your concern in this matter. This is an issue that will take some time and effort to tackle because most counties are still a considerable amount of basemap import. If you’d like to assist us in fixing this problem, we’d be glad to have you help.
What this is going to take is to first get all of the county roads named correctly. IIRC, Craig Co. (Or cRAig County as it is signed on 69… signage joke… get it?.. hello? is this thing on), for the most part uses the actual number (doesn’t drop the 4 in the N/S streets), but I can’t remember, I only clip Craig Co. when I go to Missouri.
