There are some long-term roadworks on the A1 in Bedfordshire, with changes in speed limits and average speed cameras:

The northbound carriageway is under average speed cameras for its whole length. I only spotted one average camera on the southbound: I’ll look for its parter(s) on my next run down that way.

The southbound limit starts further north, but there isn’t a node to allow me to select the correct stretch. It begins at approximately the exit from the car sales garage here:

Is Sandy roundabout itself down to 40mph, or just the A1 to the N and S?

Hello Andrew - thanks for the update.

The roundabout is within the 40 restriction.

And I made an error with the start of the southbound speed limit: it’s approximately at the ENTRANCE to the car sales garage, not the exit. Sorry!

I’ve reverted the limit north of Sandy Roundabout back to 50mph based on loads of URs.

Anyone know if the ASCZ still exists on the Southern stretch?

The average cameras have gone, and all 4 original cameras are back in service at the old speed limits (50 or 60).
