This segment gives confusing navigation - coming through this way, I took the wrong exit (I wanted the M11).
I think we need to alter this segment so that you get the instruction to keep left or keep right, then the following segment currently correctly gives the keep left for M11 instruction.
At the moment, I went up to the roundabout just west of this spot (a diversion as the entry slip to M11 from A406 westbound was closed for resurfacing), round the roundabout, back down the slip road, and waze gave no instructions to keep right onto A406 (it’s 5 lanes as this point, with the two lanes of the entry slip from the roundabout then exiting left to A113, the 3rd lane is the one that exits to M11 and lanes 4 and 5 continue as the A406). The only verbal instruction was a keep left onto M11 slip road - which currently comes before the A113 exit slip.
OK, to summarise, what I think needs to be done with this junction is:
The highlighted segment needs to be adjusted to give keep left/right instructions. This should then work correctly both for users already on the A406, wishing to exit onto A113, and for users joining the A406 from the roundabout just west of here. (The sliproad from the roundabout becomes the exit road onto the A113, so a keep right instruction would make sense here).
This should then also cause the “Keep left onto M11” instruction to no longer be ambiguous, as it’ll be given after the A113 exit slip, and not before.
Given the current update lag, think of my changes as a kick-off. If anyone has any comments/suggestions, then please go ahead and speak up.
One question I had in mind is whether the A1400/A113 exit should be a ramp, and if so, where it should stop being a ramp, given that it junctions with Maybank Rd.
