Expect (n-1)! routes to be calculated for your little TS-problem. Today, you would have caused timeouts in routing for 120 other Wazers. In other words: capacity problems do not allow for such at the moment.

I would like to see the following enhancements.
When Autozoom is turned off I would like the zoom level that I set stored and restored whenever I bring Waze up. It seems that every time I bring up the app I have to reset the zoom level. It should never change unless I change it when Autozoom is turned off.
Be able to modify the screen brightness when in Night mode. With the phone sitting on the dash it is hard to see details on the screen due to low screen brightness. I should be able to see screen brightness to better view the screen.
Be able to turn off the new auto destination feature. Whenever I fire up the app it always assumes I’m going to a previous place and then starts routing to that destination. I would like be able to turn this feature off. If I am going to work I would rather chose it manually versus always have to shut it down.

Already possible by editing the schema files that you find in the skins subfolders.
This is already possible. I do not have my phone near me now, so I cannot point you to it, but the option is called ‘learn routes to my frequent destinations’.
Moved to Thoughts and Suggestions.
I would like to see the voice icon in the search changed to a search icon, this way when I want to enter search data, it goes to my keyboard that has voice input without asking me what I want to use to record.
Also if I paste my search criteria into the search box, then I would just press search, now I have to paste, then click on the text to open my keyboard, then press enter.
This program need many repairs, and it seams that they are not happening, it is rear to see an update to Waze.
What are they doing, giving up on this program, hoping to sell it.
I also use an App called GasBuddy
Community based gas price reporting. If I need to report/update gas prices with Waze running, I have to switch between apps. Nothing painful, but I thought the ability to report/find Gas Prices at gas stations near like on GasBuddy, that would be awesome.
Much like reporting other items, you could have a quick way to report gas prices for stations identified/tracked in waze
I would like to see a few autofill buttons in the ping feature, so you don’t have to try to type. Maybe things like “Hi”, “How’s the weather?”, “Happy wazing!”, or “Did you hear the one about the Wazer who tried to cross the road?”, or something generic like that.
edit I would also like to see some AM editing tools built in, like an ability to mark a segment on the map or that that may have a UR and you need to drive to the area to check it out. A seprate navigation list to have waze take you there or a pop up reminder to have you check it out or map it if you are in the area.
Suggestions to Waze users to improve the map. For example, if there is a pacman road near by, suggest the user to drive over it to help Waze collect the data. I know we have the feature to have Waze route routes with pacman roads, but even the small suggestion might help Waze even more.
There should be themed days on Waze. For example if it is a holiday like St. Patrick’s Day, then Waze itself will switch to green tones and your Waze icon could be a shamrock or something.
For Safer Driving
I’d like to see:
When you are driving at freeway speeds in putting a roadway report is not convenient or safe. If there is a hazard in the roadway, your attention needs to be on avoiding that object, not grabbing the phone to report it.
So it Would be Great to be able to go back along your route after you are stopped or at your destination
& find place on route & in put report by Selecting (with a finger tap or something) place on map where “xyz” happened.
- Whether it be road construction or blockage of some sort in roadway – to alert others to plan for detour. Or whatever the need may be for that particular situation.
- To select place on map WithOut the Need of having GPS on / location services available.
I can see why post-reporting may be useful. But it would have to have a limit in terms of distance or time from your current location. Some hazards may be gone 5 minutes later, so reporting it doesn’t help other wazers if it is already removed.
In US/Canada, you can report hands free and that is the plan for Android and non-North America too at some point.
The ability to remotely add events!
I know this opens an entirely different can of worms for urban environments but in rural locations like mine, and locations with few wazers, the odds are slim that major events (road closures, accidents) would get reported. An Example:
It snows where I live. A Lot. This last winter the highway out of town heading south was completely blocked off by a snowdrift. The province closed the road and posted in all their social media accounts that the road was closed. This cut the city off from all points south. As it stood, waze showed the highway as open and bare because one of the handful of wazers in town would need to drive out there and manually tag that the road was closed, a dangerous and foolish task in that weather.
What I would like to do is take (For example) twitter reports from @driveBC and translate them into waze reports. It could save someone a whole lot of pain and suffering.
Even if this ability was given only to Area Managers, it would help.
Waze is beta testing a long term, remote report, web based interface in the world server right now. Give it time, and it should come over to the NA side also.

Economic route. Now we just have shortest and fastest. Economic would be sort of a mix: the economic route is the one that is just a bit slower than the fastest, but much shorter.
My usual home to work route provided by Waze is about 12 km and 15 minutes long, using the highway. The route I use is just 5 km and 17 minutes long. Most of times, when Waze recalculates the route it shows the same ETA. iGo have this option and works great.
Motorbike mode: Motorbikes are much less sensible to traffic jams than cars. A “motorbike mode” would penalty less traffic jams and slow roads when routes are calculated. Also, speed reports in motorbike mode would be less important… More than once I felt a bit guilty when crossing a traffic jam at 15-30 km/h while all the cars just can’t move, and thinking that Waze is informing that traffic is slow, but fluent.
I guess that there’s not many bikers using waze to implement this, but… It’s just an idea.

For example: black ice on the road
perhaps only temporarily, but useful!
Hazard is certainly possible, but would be more accurate weather.

If you have the voice control option, you can report a lot more things then what is on the menus. Their is finite space on the menus, if they put everything that everyone has suggested on them, you would have to scroll for a mile to find the one you want.
you can turn off traffic display in the advanced settings. Doesn’t stop reports from popping up while stopped or if you have them set for any groups you are in, but that will effectively do what you want.
