Hi,
I’m the officer in charge of the cartography in a firefighting service in Belgium. We are looking to use data from Waze to identify problematic areas (mainly the blocked roads), as arriving quickly somewhere might literally be a life or death question, so avoiding being stuck at a closed road is of paramount importance to us. At the moment we actually use our own ersatz of what waze offers, and we have someone manually drawing all the road blocks that we know of in our internal GIS, but that is no longer maintainable.
Throught the Waze for Cities program I can access a Traffic data feed, in which I can find the user reported road blocks (singular points), but not the officially reported ones (roads colored in red/white striping). Do you know of any way to recopver that information, ideally through a GIS-like interface like WMS or equivalent?
Thanks in advance
