Hello Waze Map Editors,

I live at 260 Southernthread Road, Wellington. This road currently shows as restricted/private in Waze, which prevents routing to my home.
Hawkins Hill Road is also along this route and currently only allows routing as far as the Brookklyn Wind Turbine.

  • Access status: The road is private with restricted access, but residents are permitted to drive the full length.
  • Request: Please update the road so that routing to addresses along Southernthread Road is allowed for residents/destinations, while still preventing through-traffic.
  • Benefit: This will allow residents like myself to & from navigate home correctly without encouraging non-residents to cut through.

Thanks, looks like there might be a couple of missing roads around that back area of Wellington. I’ll work on getting them added to the map. I see you’ve submitted a map update request as well, so I’ll reply there and let you know once they have been added

They’ve been added to the map now. Should appear in the Waze app in the next few days (no earlier than late tomorrow afternoon).
