Adding Road Closures and Construction around Bull Run Filtration Facility

I am unable to add an Event for some reason and need help. The construction of the Bull Run Filtration Facility will be causing several road delays and road closures over the next couple of years. Some of these closures start next week.

Upcoming traffic restrictions during planned roadway improvements:

  • Cottrell Road (Bluff Road to Carpenter Lane) closure with local access only — estimated September 11-25

  • Cottrell Road (Dodge Park Boulevard to Lusted Road) closure with local access only — estimated September 25-October 7

  • Lusted Road (between Altman Road and Pleasant Home Road) closure with local access only — estimated September 24-October 1

  • Dodge Park Boulevard/Altman Road intersection closure — estimated October 6-15

Upcoming traffic restrictions during planned pipeline construction:

  • Dodge Park Boulevard/Cottrell Road intersection closure and Dodge Park Boulevard (to about 1,500 feet east of Cottrell Road intersection) closure — estimated October 1-10

  • Dodge Park Boulevard (between Altman Road and Cottrell Road) closure — estimated October 13-28

  • Altman Road/Lusted Road intersection closure during work hours — estimated October 1-31

  • Lusted Road (near county line) single-lane traffic with 24/7 temporary signals — estimated October 15-April 28

  • Road closure on Lusted Road (between Hosner Road and Altman Road) with road opened to one-way eastbound traffic outside work hours — estimated start early November

Whoever started to add this to the map. Thanks, but its not correct. There are segments which are now marked as closed which don’t close until later.

Also, How the heck are you supposed to “level up” in the map editor? I’ve been messing around for 10 years but everything that needs to happen I am unable to edit. Then I don’t get any credit for the corrections. So I’m permanently stuck at level 1.

The website is likely not as up to date. I am on the construction team here on site. The link to the PDF map is the latest update that we sent out yesterday.

I believe I have all the closures in place now, based on the Map.

Unfortunatley Closures are a Level 3 thing, no changing that. as to attaining rank, Ranks 2 and 3 are soley based on the number of edits you make. getting to L2 is usually done by updating places, and adding Parking lot roads and updating streets.

You can edit any road that needs something regardless of it’s Lock level by asking for an unlock on Discord.
