Waze in Australia doesn’t need the Toll Pass feature.
It is used overseas where some roads / freeway entrances are configured to only route drivers who have selected a certain pass in their app.
As all Tags can be used on all toll roads in Australia (and even number plate lookup without a Tag), there isn’t any routing restricted to individual pass holders.

Okay, but I just thought it would make sense to link them if you chose a route that tolls as your preferred pathway to your destination that’s all hence why I suggested it as such.

What happens is that it will prevent routing on the toll roads if people don’t select they have those passes. So it will end up causing more problems for people that want to use tolls but don’t get routed onto them because of needing to select a certain pass.
It’s better not having passes on Waze for Australia as anyone can use a toll road with any Australian e-tag or their numberplate (and then pay over the phone). They’re not as restricted compared to overseas ones.
